Tanya Deneen

Meet Tanya Deneen, CASA of the Heartland Board Member since October 2023!

Tanya has achieved a 34-year career in the financial industry, specializing in regulatory and risk management issues. She currently works for The Cecilian Bank as the Senior Vice President - Internal Auditor.

A lifelong resident of Elizabethtown, Tanya returned to her hometown after graduating from Georgetown College and marrying her husband, as they wanted to raise their children amongst loving family and in a supportive community.

Over time, she has served on numerous boards and volunteered with different organizations in Hardin County, including the Elizabethtown Leadership Program, Big Brother Big Sisters, Feeding America, Elizabethtown Educational Foundation, the Brown Pusey House, and more.

“I have seen and heard about so many of our local children suffering daily within their home. I believe that supporting any resource and support network that our community can provide to help these children is extremely valuable,” said Tanya. “Becoming a board member is just a small role I can play in bringing awareness to the role of CASA of the Heartland and, hopefully, help impact at least one child.”
