Meet Natalie Curtis, our Advocate Coordinator & Program Specialist! Natalie has worked with CASA of the Heartland since 2016.
Natalie holds Bachelor and Masters of Social Work degrees, both from Western Kentucky University, as well as Certified Social Worker licensure through the Kentucky Board of Social Work. Before joining CASA, she served as an AmeriCorps VISTA with United Way of Central Kentucky.
Every day at CASA is different for Natalie, which is one of her favorite things about her job.
“One day, I may be attending a visit with a child or a court session with a CASA volunteer, and the next I might be writing a grant or coordinating a fundraising event,” she said.
Natalie also enjoys interacting with CASA volunteers, who always go above and beyond to advocate for abused and neglected children.
“I have seen and heard how volunteers make a difference in the life of a child,” she said. “If you're looking for an opportunity to serve a child and make an impact in your community, CASA is the place for you. Please contact us to learn more.”
Natalie resides in her hometown of Leitchfield, along with her husband, Austin, and their two dogs: Cash, a German Shepherd, and Dolly, a Belgian Malinois. Her hobbies include running, traveling, music, and attending concerts.
