Meet Alex Dulaney, our Student Intern! Alex is a senior at the University of Louisville and will graduate in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Social Work.
Alex completed her practicum with CASA of Heartland between 2023-2024. During that time, she gained valuable knowledge about the child welfare system, macro policies, and case management.
Her favorite part of working with CASA is advocating for children and providing support to vulnerable families. She also enjoys creating meaningful bonds with children and helping them develop permanency.
“CASA invites all community members to become advocates, as long as they are passionate about helping others,” Alex said.
