Meet Christa Brangers, our Advocate Trainer! Christa has worked with CASA of the Heartland since July of 2024.
Christa’s favorite part of her job is helping volunteers begin their journey toward helping children and families.
When asked what she wants everyone to know about CASA, she emphasized that “there are over 50 children waiting for a CASA Advocate in Hardin County.”
Prior to CASA, Christa worked as a teacher and guidance counselor at the middle and high school levels for almost 30 years. She and her husband, Chris, have been married for 27 years and live in Elizabethtown with their teenage son, Gabe. They also have two adult daughters, Michaela and Courtney.
Christa enjoys reading books of all types, canning meals, line dancing, crocheting, and cross stitching. Recently, she started quilting too!
