Angela Rafferty

Meet Angela Raffety, an Advocate Coordinator for CASA of the Heartland! While Angela has worked with CASA since 2017, she joined our team in 2024.

Angela adores working with advocates. She enjoys not only watching them make a difference in the lives of children, but helping them see the positive changes they help create.

“Many times, advocates only see the tip of the iceberg,” said Angela. “I like to emphasize how important their role is to the bigger picture.”

Coming from a turbulent childhood herself, with an alcoholic father and codependent mother, Angela personally understands the difference that a dependable adult like a CASA volunteer can make in a young individual’s life.

“An hour each month can literally change the life of a child,” she said.

Angela was born in Hardin County but has resided in Grayson County for 35 years. She and her husband, Scott, share five grandsons and three adult children. In her free time, she enjoys reading, planning adventures, and spending time with friends and family.
