Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of the Heartland is a non-profit that recruits, trains, and supports volunteers within our local community to advocate on behalf of abused and neglected children who are referred to us from the Family Courts. When you look around in the community, many children you see either need or have a CASA. I am reaching out to seek help from our community. April is Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention month, so we are asking community members to purchase a t-shirt for $15 to help us raise awareness for the children in our community who have suffered from abuse and neglect. CASA is asking participants to wear their CASA t-shirt to create a “sea of blue” throughout the community on the following dates:
